Updated November 5, 2026. Candidates should verify the updated admit-card release date on the official CAT website.
Latest update
The Indian Express reported that IIM Indore deferred the CAT 2026 admit card release to November 6 from November 4. Applicants should use the official candidate login and avoid unofficial download links.
Why it matters
An admit-card release delay matters because candidates need time to check their examination centre, reporting time and identity requirements. An unofficial screenshot or a third-party download page may contain outdated or incorrect details.
What to check next
Use only the official CAT candidate portal at iimcat.ac.in. After the admit card becomes available, verify the spelling of your name, photograph, examination date, slot and test centre. Read the instructions for permitted documents and items; if anything is wrong, contact the official helpdesk promptly.
